It was a nice to feel sunlight fall straight in the eyes. Driving is never easy after a long night Thankfully to have the wonderful company of people on the way. That feeling of leaving the city of known faces brings in a new sense of life. A life less real but good for the present. No wonder strangers are most welcomed in life sometimes.
But real strangers are hard to find. The one whom you meet and then are never supposed to meet again. There is a sense of lunatic comfort to talk and be forgotten, more like a dream but all in your control. Strangely life is not all that wonderful either.
The sense of being on holiday is lost when the trip is accompanied by people who are more lost in the deciduous nature of time and planning. Lamenting and letting go with a cup of coffee, i accelerated the drive, and getting on the nerve to break my own speed barriers. At 130 kmph, a feeble machine seems more like a toy. Hardly anyone knew in that company what it feels like controlling a cart with a free wheeling steering and peddles that are really at mercy of gravity. It must really feel great to see a cart pull over a speeding engineering marvel. Thanks Alto-800. You truly made it feel that happiness comes in form of surprises.
So the journey was cut short and a big respite for people who almost felt guillotine rush.
And then there was the much awaited lunch, a home made food. There is something more than just having a good food. Its something so down to earth yet special and simple.
The sun was by now on the other end of the sky ready to gleam in the eyes again. Thankfully my hands take rests of the steering wheel this time and give the eyes to look away from the road and into the greenery and let the feet feel the fresh air. Wish the ghats never had an end. Gagan bawda indeed seems more above the sky and yet you feel it would have been further high. Glad that the ghats ended with the daylight. But more it feels like to have it more. The rush from the humanized plain even the so called villages, seems allergic than the city left behind. But that journey and so travel it.
Reaching up the familiar place is always relaxing but finding it not so familiar does put new things on mind. Thankfully Kubal kaka kept things less for my mind. The evening walk on the beach was something that is not ment for today, but yes the star studded sky does gives cool welcome. As i prepared to walk up to get my feets wet along with a cup of tea, some familiar sounds started ringing my head again. Something that these waves have to clear up. Not now, i need some company than to find collecting my self back the same, with the waves. Lets see the people go chill .!! till i fall back to sleep.
